Ownership of a motorcycle for more than 21 years creates an itch that only a website will scratch. The bike cannot publicise itself and I have been recruited to do the dirty-work, otherwise opportunities to get my leg-over will decline!

I’ve had the domain name for a number of years (lost it once to an Australian (took my eye off the ball) but managed to buy it back when he took HIS eye off his ball.

Seemed such a shame to waste the opportunity, and people may find the content amusing, informative, educational and life-affirming, and they might even want to add to the content. I dare you.

Ranting, Riding & R- soles

(All three categories for this one!) Riders, mainly BMW trail bike riders, who insist on high beams even during the middle of the day. Dipped beam, yes, but high beam just pisses off the driver in front and all of the traffic approaching. Yes, we can see you, Yes, we know safety is paramount, but would we respect you any the less if you used dipped beam? Probably not. But do they react when I flash my lights? No. They adopt that thousand-yard stare straight ahead as if there is no one in their world but them – which is probably true.

Riders who carry big, square luggage boxes as if they are about to conquer the world, but are likely to be just going to Tesco’s.
